What is the Vizioncore vEssentials solution bundle?

Vizioncore vEssentials solution bundle offers "pick any three" flexibility to adopt industry-leading virtualization management products. This bundle allows you to take advantage of incredible savings while creating your own personalized solution set.

What is the Vizioncore vEssentials Complete solution bundle?

vEssentials Complete offers the ability to address all six stages of the virtual lifecycle. Helping you to protect and manage your virtual environment, this total Vizioncore solution set allows you to accelerate along the virtualization maturity curve with an integral set of industry-leading products, extending and harnessing the value of their virtual platforms.

Which products are eligible for inclusion in the bundle?

All six (6) of Vizioncore's innovative products in virtualization management are eligible for this "pick any three" bundle, including:

  • vFoglight Pro: Best-in-class performance monitoring for virtual and physical infrastructures
  • vConverter DR: Fast, easy and reliable P2V/V2V conversions
  • vRanger Pro: Industry-standard backup and recovery solution for virtual environments
  • vReplicator: Disaster recovery solution built for short and critical recovery time objectives (RTOs)
  • vOptimizer Pro: VM storage reclamation and rightsizing
  • vControl: Multi-hypervisor virtual machine (VM) management solution

Can I choose two or three licenses of one Vizioncore product with the new vEssentials software bundle - like a mix and match?

No. You can mix and match solutions, not licenses. The vEssentials offering includes the customer's choice of three individual Vizioncore solutions. The product bundle is made for building personalized solution sets and is sold by license, allowing customers to realize savings of up to 40%.

I already have vEssentials. Can I take advantage of vEssentials Complete?

Yes. Customers who own vEssentials may "square up" to vEssentials Complete. Read on for more details on squaring up.

Can I combine more than three Vizioncore products into one software bundle and use the new vEssentials bundle 40% savings discount?

If you want more than 3 Vizioncore products, you will find vEssentials Complete to offer the best value. This product bundle addresses all six stages of VM management with the total Vizioncore solution set.

Can I "square up" to vEssentials or vEssentials Complete if I already own a Vizioncore product?

Yes. If you already own one Vizioncore product can square up to vEssentials or vEssentials Complete.

I want to include vReplicator as one of my bundled products. How will this be licensed?

In the past, bundle customers with vReplicator have received 8VMs per CPU with their licenses. However, with the release of vReplicator 3.0, vReplicator is now licensed per CPU. If you choose to include vReplicator in your bundle, you will receive 1 CPU vReplicator for every vEssentials license purchased.

How do I receive support with a vEssentials bundle?

vEssentials automatically comes with 1 year of support. If you choose, you may purchase an additional two years of support. Our vEssentials Bundles all come with 1 year or 3 years of support.You can renew support for 1 year or 3 years.

Will my existing support agreements be affected if I add a new product to an existing vEssentials software bundle?

No, support agreements will not be affected.

Can I co-term the maintenance of my original Vizioncore product or bundle with my square up?

Yes! To renew or co-term your maintenance, please send an email to Renew@vizioncore.com and one of our team members will contact you with a quote. The rule of the thumb for co-terming maintenance in a bundle is that each product will need to be co-termed individually to one date before renewing at the bundle price.

How are the lower-cost products such as vOptimizer and vConverter DR positioned for the new vEssentials software bundle?

Let's look at two scenarios*. In one, a customer buys the three lowest-cost Vizioncore solutions at a la carte pricing. In the other scenario, the customer buys the same three solutions, but buys them bundled together in vEssentials.

Even when leveraging the lower-cost products, customers can realize nearly 10% savings from a la carte retail pricing. If the products you are considering have higher list prices than this example shows, your savings could be even higher!.

Are there web-based and online training classes for Vizioncore products?

Yes! Vizioncore provides world-class web-based and online training classes for all products supported in the vEssentials solution bundles. Vizioncore also provides additional training; however, the amount of training that customers require depends on the role they perform.
