Vizioncore was formed in July 2002 as a consulting and software-development company with the mission to create easy-to-use software solutions that performed reliable and repeatable automation of datacenter functions specifically for the Citrix platform.  A main corporate goal was to enable business partners to offer solutions that targeted real-world IT issues and provided the best possible installation and automation for their clients' systems.

Vizioncore's flagship solution is vRanger Pro, which has enabled disaster recovery and business continuity on the VMware virtualization platform. vRanger Pro was designed specifically from a DR consulting engagement and was Vizioncore's entry to the virtualization industry. vRanger Pro performs automated hot backups of running virtual machines, offers file-level recovery and can be deployed and maintained by any level administrator without Linux or in-depth VMware knowledge. This solution was built from the start for virtualized environments without any of the legacy issues that many other solutions — originally built for physical systems — carry when applied to virtualized environments. Today, vRanger Pro is the most recognized and widest used solution for the virtual infrastructure.  The same philosophy and software development methodology has been applied to and has produced additional outstanding solutions for the VMware platform, including vCharter, vReplicator, and vMigrator.
